We have two shows confirmed for the remainder of the year.
The first is this Friday, Nov. 18, in Chicago with All Eyes West & Haymarket Riot. Being fans of both bands, we are really stoked and looking forward to this! Here are those details:

The Second show, Dec 9, is a benefit for the Covington Insurance Plan….to explain this as briefly as possible, when someone in the local music community is in need of $’s due to medical/insurance needs, we all lend a helping hand. This night will be filled with tons of great music and friends getting together for a great cause. The benefit will be held at the Southgate House. Here are those details as well:

KtS will be taking some time off to get caught up on writing and recording and look to be back in the spring hopefully with some new recordings/songs. Until then, we will keep you up to date with KtS along with everything and anything associated to us and/or our interests.

kNife’s been busy as of late. Currently we are writing new material for an album hopefully due out in spring. In the meantime we have some shows to play, friends to host and places to go. Summer has come to end and Fall has only just begun, our label mates The Strongest Proof decided to call it after ten years. We wish them the best in any future endeavors and will miss them and their live performances. They marked the end with an all out bash at the Southgate House with a slew of great bands who showed their support and love. Their catalog is still available on Phratry’s website, so follow the link to get yourself some!
But just because its Fall doesn’t mean nothing new is happening, they’re are some bands popping up that are starting to make a name for themselves around town. Be sure to check out Sometimes(featuring Gabe of 1000 arms), New Strange(members of Lost Hands found Fingers, The Sweep, Angels of Meth), New Third Worlds(members of Caterpillar Tracks and Arms Exploding) The Shivs(members of Lost Hands, Ampline, Strongest Proof, Cat Trax). There are quite a few more but lets get back to Knife…We have some shows coming up so maybe it might be a good idea to shell out those dates:

Here’s a list of our upcoming shows. If you missed the FOOD show, you missed a night of some rad tunes with some rad people. Its was a great night with a great turnout. Thanks to Disguised as Birds, Traindodge and Ampline for playing the show as well!!! Along with Rob Martz supplying the art and Joe Caruso running the sound.
